Corey's mother wrote "This special angel pin is created in the memory of my beloved son Corey and my sweet daughter in-law, Michelle. They were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony on 5/18/2003 and the love they had for each other was so evident to everyone that saw them together. What no one knew that day was that less than 3 months later, Corey and Michelle would be killed in an A/A in an unmarked, deteriorated construction zone in Arizona. Corey, 20 years old, was an A1C with the U.S. Air Force and Michelle, 22 years old, was a nursing student. They were the most gentle, loving, responsible, honest, dependable and caring couple that anyone could ever hope to meet. Both families are totally devastated and we will be trying to cope with the pain of losing them for the rest of our lives. Corey and Michelle are so loved and will never be forgotten.............."
